Laura Linsenmayer of ROOTS the Beauty Underground
Summer may be coming to a close but that #HotGirlSummer glow never has to end. This week, we sit down with Laura Linsenmayer, founder of the OC’s Roots the Beauty Underground.
More than just our favorite non-toxic cosmetic shop, Roots inspires self-love through clean cosmetics. Laura has always believed that there’s a happy middle ground between spending time on our passions and doing a little good in the world.
She kicked off her career in the beauty industry at Bare Minerals, before being headhunted to run an LA blow dry bar. Building someone else’s new biz from the ground up gave Laura the confidence she needed to start her own endeavor — and on one gorgeous August Full Moon in 2012, Roots Beauty was born.
Today, Laura spends her time finding the world’s best clean products for the Laguna community, and — to be honest — our dewy complexions couldn’t be happier.
If you’re looking for truly clean products and sustainable packaging, Roots Underground is worth a visit. Learn more about Laura’s story and her clean beauty tips here.
