In a celebration that combined plenty of tail wags and treats, Officer Blue, the lovable Doodle dog from the children’s book series, hosted a police-themed dog party for his furry pals.

The event, planned by The Picnic Style and Laguna Beach Living was held at Surf City Airstream, a dog-friendly venue with lots of space that provided the perfect backdrop for a day full of fun and mischief.

Meet Officer Blue

Officer Blue isn’t just any dog; he’s a local hero living here in Laguna Beach. Blue's adventures are captured in a series of children's books written by the mother/son team Victoria and Corbin Thomas. These stories, inspired by Blue's real-life escapades around Orange County, highlight his determination to join the esteemed K-9 Police Force despite his small size and playful demeanor.

**A Pawsome Setup**

The venue was transformed into a doggy paradise with on-theme balloons and police attire. Officer Blue wore an “official” badge and Laumea Photography captured all the day’s fun. (How he gets dogs to perfectly pose is a talent-and-a-half!)

Bark-Worthy Bites

No party is complete without delicious treats, and Graze Craze in Laguna Hills delivered a spectacular charcuterie spread. (While it was meant for the human attendees, there were definitely some bites taken by a pup or two!)

Furry Friends and Fun

The guest list included some of Officer Blue’s closest (and most famous!) friends from all around SoCal:

The highlight of the event was a fab photo session where the pups donned aviator sunglasses, echoing Officer Blue’s stylish look from his book cover.

Additionally, each attendee received a copy of the book, making it a memorable keepsake from a doggone doggie day.

Community and Celebration
